No Laughing Matter (Level 5 PCs)

This adventure is so much fun players I’ve run it for have gone on to run it for others. $3 is criminally good value.

Ebonclad - A Thieves' Guild Setting & Adventures
by A customer [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/22/2023 18:49:15

This is amazingly well written. Loved DMing this as my first 5E adventure several years ago. As another reviewer said, the bar was set high to follow this up. Loved it.

Dungeons on Demand: Volume Four
by Teresa E. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 07/19/2022 17:39:28

I was getting overwelmed trying to create adventures for my group and Dungeons on Demand saved my sanity and improved my games. Each adventure is really well thought out. I love the suggested dialog and tips on how to increase or decrease the difficulty of each encounter. I have accidentally total party killed in the early days of running games because I didn't understand how to create a balanced encounter. Using these adventures taught me what makes them challenging, but not too difficult.

Bandit's Nest (Level 1 PCs)
by Teresa E. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 07/19/2022 17:37:59

My players very much enjoyed starting out their characters in this adventure. We were all learning Dungeons and Dragons, me as a DM, them as almost complete newbies. This adventure kept me from accidently killing everyone off on our first adventure. :)

Cities & Towns

I have gotten so much mileage out of this little supplement over the years. Great maps and just enough of a foundation to build on but with enough gaps to use your own material. It strikes a perfect balance. I would love you see a part 2 of this supplement.

An Axe to Grind (Level 3 PCs)
by David T. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 10/24/2021 11:52:35

A 5e D&D adventure for 3rd level PC's. There are 9 possible encounter sites involved with a player friendly map and a fog of war map without a grid, which I thought was a nice touch.

The adventure revolves around a missing lord and his loggers, who are cutting down a forest and upsetting a druid leading to a lot of interesting nature based encounters.

I think it also makes for some excellent RP opportunities if there are any Elves, Rangers, Druids or other nature orientated characters in the party.

I have paid double for similar adventures so consider this one excellent value for money.

Classes of Distinction
by David T. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 10/23/2021 17:23:14

This contains 9 new class options for 5e D&D, some are good and others not so, but at this price it's hard to complain and it's fairly subjective whether you like something or not. For example, I'm not keen on the chronomancer, if I wanted to mess about with time I'd play Doctor Who, other people might think it's great.

I especially liked that this came in 2 versions, I nice printer friendly version for thos classes you choose to use and the deluxe version.

An Axe to Grind (Level 3 PCs)
by Stephen C. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 07/06/2021 18:13:54

As another reviewer noted, this adventure is incredibly easy to follow. In reading it, I didn't have to do a bunch of thumbing around to find this detail or that detail. Everything you need for an encounter is right there with it. Some might call it repetetive, but I found it helpful, and with digital content not having to worry about physical page count resources, there's no down side. Also a fun story with interesting encounters.

First NPC collection I've seen that successfully delivers NPC's that are interesting/decent in combat, memorable and useful as characters, and able to dropped into a campaign with their prewritten hooks without having to do a ton of prep changes

Breaking Hearts - A Valentine's Day Adventure (Level 3 - 5 PCs)
by JEROME M. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 02/15/2021 18:18:16

Grabbed this for a short fun Valentine's Day themed encounter!

This was a well-written and simply presented add-on adventure that can be added to any campaign with very little work. I included this encounter in part of our hex crawl for Rise of the Drow and it blended right in seamlessly.

The stats are included for D&D5E, but the adventure converts easily into the system of your choice with minimal effort. The geomorphic nature of the map can take a second to get used to, but once you decide that fun is the order of the day, you won't be too worried about the silhouettes and spoilers that seem to be included on the map.

The story of the Succubus looking to complete her ritual was easy enough that all I had to do was figure out who went missing from the group that our PCs would actually go out to save. The connections are loose enough, that it is very easy to blend into whatever is going on in your campaign. The cavern itself only took a few hours to run through, so it works quite well for a one-shot one-night only adventure.

I converted it to Pathfinder First Edition by grabbing the stats for the Succubus out of Bestiary 1, converted the Culpids to Dretch variants, and then grabbed the quipper fish stats from the Tome of Horrors Complete from Frog God Games.

It was fun, the fight with the succubus was challenging, and the party loved the final realization that the entire cave was shaped like a heart.

Light-hearted, easily adaptable, and fun to run. Grab it for your Valentine's Day adventure today!

Classes of Distinction

I'm hesitant to give 5 stars only because I haven't seen any of these archetypes tested. Personally, I would still recommend this just because the archetypes are so conceptually/thematically cool. I've never seen a time-based class that was so accessible. A lot of these archetypes--the bard college of the muse, the trapper ranger, the alpha barbarian, etc--read like something that should have been in the PHB. These archetypes scratch an itch.
