Q: What is the affiliate program?
A: Do you ever refer friends to Guild of Blades Publishing Group? If so, then participating in this program will give you rewards for that! You will get store credit, which you can also cash out for real money. Interested? Read on.

Q: How do I sign up?
A: Create a Guild of Blades Publishing Group account, and then contact us at publisherservice@onebookshelf.com with both 1) the email you used for that customer account and 2) the web address or name of the website, blog, newsgroup or other resource where you plan to use the affiliate links. You'll receive an email back from us within a couple business days confirming your affiliate status.

Q: Okay, so how do I get credit?
A: Simply refer people to Guild of Blades Publishing Group by tacking on ?affiliate_id=[ID] (log in and reload this page to see your actual affiliate ID here) to any URL (or if there's already a ? in the URL, use & instead). Here are a couple of examples:

You can paste that link into forum posts, use it in your forum signature, or use it as a link on your website if you have one.  When someone comes to Guild of Blades Publishing Group from one of these links, we'll know it's you that sent them!  So if they make a purchase within 15 days of coming to our site from one of your links, you'll have a portion of that purchase (excluding gift certificates) credited to your account.

Q: How do I see how much credit I've accumulated?
A: In the upper right, in the "Your Order" box, there will be a line saying "Account Credit".  This is how much credit your Guild of Blades Publishing Group account has. You can also click on "My Account", and your current credit will be listed at the bottom of that page.

Q: How do I use my credit?
A: When you check out, there will be an option under the credit card entry form that says "Check to use account credit".  Simply check the box next to that, and your account credit will be used for that purchase.  If your account credit completely covers the purchase amount, you don't even have to enter any credit card information.

Q: How do I trade my credit for real money?
A: Click on the Redeem Credit link in the "My Cart" box in the upper right.  Simply follow the instructions from there. You will be paid via a PayPal payment, so it will make the process go faster if you already have a PayPal account set up.

Q: How much real money do I get?
A: You can trade account credit in for 100% of its value, minus a $2 processing fee. So if you have garnered $20 in affiliate credit and cash it all out, then you'll get $18 in real money sent to you via PayPal.

Q: What other tools do you have available for affiliates?
We have a variety of tools available on the Affiliate Resources page (you must be logged in to see them though), such as banners, RSS feeds, and a tool that will allow you to display our latest reviews from featured reviewers on your site.
